2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: haha, atleast that's good^^
2006-10-03 [Atayemi]: Yes! :D
2006-10-03 [Cia_mar]: hmmm brother's lionheart... not heard of that one.. who wrote it?
2006-10-03 [Elegy - gone]: Astrid Lindgren ^_^
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: isn't she dead now? died not to long ago?
2006-10-03 [Elegy - gone]: Yeah... 2002, wasn't it?
2006-10-03 [Artemis Riddle]: something like that I think, yes
2006-10-03 [Cia_mar]: o.o
2006-10-03 [Sunrose]: If I missed something important, let me know :P
2006-10-04 [bluefarie]: [Nocternity S.] that's a good one!!
2006-10-04 [Nocternity S.]: Thank you ^^'
2006-10-04 [bluefarie]: welcome!
2006-10-05 [bluefarie]: *sigh* I entered! yay..
2006-10-05 [Nocternity S.]: it looks kind of scary, how long did it took you to do it?
Mine took me about 2 1/2 hours hehe
2006-10-06 [bluefarie]: mine...was like...I don't even remember...I know it took alot longer to color & shade stuff than to just draw it..
2006-10-06 [Nocternity S.]: yeah it's nice, i wish i knew photoshop :'(
2006-10-06 [Zab]: Thank you both. :)
Do you have Photoshop? (since you said you wish to knew it) The only way to learn is to try, and perhaps look at some of the tutorials here on ET. :)
2006-10-06 [Nocternity S.]: yeah, i have photoshop 9.0, elements and illustrator. I looked already at tutorials not only from elftown and believe me im going nuts, i might be slow or something because for painting, or coloring drawings i just dont get it. :s
2006-10-06 [Zab]: Well, you just have to learn the program by using it then:)
2006-10-06 [Nocternity S.]: yeah i'll keep reading and reading, i dont think i'll give up. Unless i dont have the time :/
2006-10-06 [Zab]: Don't forget to just play around with the program ;)
2006-10-07 [bluefarie]: yeah, it can be a lot of fun!!
2006-10-07 [iippo]: Ooooh, I saw Pet Cemetary at a far too young an age... XD
Awesome entry, guys.
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: I still haven't finished reading that book o.o;
2006-10-07 [moira hawthorne]: Stephen King is too much for me... I just wholesale avoid them.... Id never sleep again if I read his books... that fact I seen some tv shows based on his books is too much... I never seen Pet Cemetary... but [Talkris] wanted zombiee.. and I coloured it what I thought would scared the S***T out of me if I saw it... so I suppose it works...
2006-10-07 [iippo]: I read King during the summer when it doesn't get as dark :P
2006-10-07 [Ocean Soul]: Oh come on you all, King is not that terrifying. I mean, sure, there are some books that made me want to die voluntarely so the creatures from the book couldn't hunt me. But - some books are so good, so GREAT, so fascinating! And he has such a style of writing, I would read anything. The french revolution? I'm on it! A bee's day? Lay it on to me! As long as Stephen King wrote it, why not. Read "On Writing", if the rest of it scares you too much.
2006-10-07 [Zab]: I like those few books I've read and seen as movies. :)
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: Stephen King in all honesty, bores me >_> <_< I tried to read 'Song of Susannah' from the dark tower series but there was nothing to it! I kind of got into 'Pet Semetary' but for unforeseen circumstances, I had to stop (it's currently propping up my freeview box). Blasphemy, I know :P
2006-10-07 [Lothuriel]: I like some of his stuff but none of it is really that scary.
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: Agreed x) I liked The Magic Cottage, but for the life of me I can't remember the author, hang on *scurries off* Aha! James Herbert :P
2006-10-07 [Ocean Soul]: You can't just read one book of the tower series, silly T__T You obviously don't get the story then :P And besides, the older books are superior (storywise). The last three are crazy :| read The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, please please? It's goody, I loved it.
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: My mother bought me the book, it wasn't my fault :P My mother has a habit of buying me books in the middle of a series o.o; drives me mad, but I have to be grateful :P
I'll have a go :P
2006-10-07 [iippo]: Three words: the Green Mile.
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: I loved that film.
2006-10-07 [iippo]: You'd love the book even more.
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: I'll have to read it :D How about Saving Private Ryan? Was that a book?
2006-10-07 [Lothuriel]: When I was a kid the only thing that ever scared me was a seen from a movie called Saturday the 14th. The scene were the black lagoon monster follows a girl up and down the stairs after emerging from her bath tub...it was menat to be funny but scared the snot out of me. Til this day I have a weird phobish feeling when walking up stairs by myself. I tend to run...
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: Aww! I hate it when films affect you in that way :(
I once watched a film about a mummy (original huh?) and it was taking organs from people and what not, but instead of looking like a person, it was just a mass of flesh o.o; I swear I could see the outline of it in my bedroom curtains for months afterwards.
2006-10-07 [Ocean Soul]: I once as a kid watched a part of a film where there are crazy, evil witches, and the kids get told that you can tell it's a witch by looking at their feet (they don't have toes) and at their eyes (they are purple). Ever since I hate feet.. oO
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: I wouldn't recommend you going to my house then >_>
But eww X_x
2006-10-07 [iippo]: Heey! That film is awesome. And the witches can smell the kids, and they turn kids into rats. There's a book of that too.
2006-10-07 [Zab]: I saw that movie too! or..I think..I remember witches with purple eyes, white rats and chocolate..>_>
2006-10-07 [iippo]: The granny told the boy about the witches, and the witch turns the boy and his friend into rats and they have to fight the witches and they manage to make all the witches into rats too. And then a white witch changes the boys back to people. *nod*
2006-10-07 [iippo]: http://imdb.co
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: Hang on, are we talking about The Witches by Roald Dahl?
2006-10-07 [iippo]: I am.
2006-10-07 [Ocean Soul]: Chocolate, yes. The witch wanted to lure the boy into her car or something, or get him home to eat him oO I don't remember. That scene where he's sitting on the tree and she's waving chocolate at him just FREAKED me out!
2006-10-07 [iippo]: Yeah. :3
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: I lurve that film <3
2006-10-07 [iippo]: *nodnod* ^^
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: Carrie is a huge favourite of mine though. I'm not too keen on the second film =/
2006-10-07 [Ocean Soul]: Omg.. my kiddie nightmares and you like it :P
2006-10-07 [sequeena_rae]: Oh, sorry *hates it* >_> <_< >:D I love the way they're all bald xD
2006-10-08 [moira hawthorne]: she sortta really sexy... [Asrun]
2006-10-08 [Kuehne]: omg.. i thought i was the only one that saw The Witches. I loved that movie when I was a kid
2006-10-08 [sequeena_rae]: Nuuu! How can a film made from the Roald Dahl book not be popular amongst children? :o
2006-10-09 [Ocean Soul]: [windgirl], not resizing your image might be better since it's so tiny!
2006-10-09 [windgirl]: lol yeah I just had to fix that
2006-10-11 [shotokan_gal]: Just to remind some of the entrants, there is a theme to this competition (more specific than just Halloween) - you can find it at the top of the page. If it isn't obvious how your picture fits this, you may want to explain it in the description.
2006-10-11 [Atayemi]: :P Are we allowed to take down our first entries and replace them with a new one?
2006-10-11 [shotokan_gal]: It shouldn't be a problem if it's before the deadline. You're allowed two entries though remember :)
2006-10-11 [Lothuriel]: 20 and 21 removed because they did not fit the theme of the contest. Others that don't fit are 14, 15, and 17. No one is being picked on here, but the rules are there for a reason. I am letting you know ahead of time because I want everyone who has entered to have a fair shot at winning. Just fix your entries and re-post them. You still have a little time.Things That Go Bump in the Night. A Halloween contest where people show the traditional childhood fears of monsters in the closet, under the bed, etc.
2006-10-11 [Atayemi]: Alright, thanks [shotokan_gal]! :)
2006-10-11 [moira hawthorne]: 14.. [Talkris] explained it in comments... she was afraid of Stephen King's Pet Cemetary as a child... this would be the repersentation of her nightmare after it...
2006-10-11 [shotokan_gal]: Well comments go off the page Moira. Perhaps you could add the same explanation to the image description.
2006-10-11 [Lothuriel]: WHich is why I didn't remove it. You need to explain that in the description of the drawing, not the comments. =] It is the judges that need to see the captions most of all, not the general public.
2006-10-11 [moira hawthorne]: ok its in... from my point of view from talkin with her... if she wants to add more she can...
2006-10-11 [Lothuriel]: ANd indeed...Pet Cemetary scared the crap outta me!
2006-10-11 [moira hawthorne]: when I was 6 yrs old my older brothers told me that they had my dead cat in the garage and they were gonna stuff him and mount him in my bedroom... O.O
2006-10-11 [Lothuriel]: ACK!!!
2006-10-11 [moira hawthorne]: I dont think I ever step foot into that garage!
2006-10-12 [Kuehne]: I actually have never seen the Pet Sementary movie.. but the book was awesome. I'm a big fan of Steven King novels.. not so much the movies. The movies, although good on their own account, pale in comparison to the books.
2006-10-12 [Sunrose]: I heard that the endings in his books are not as good quality as the rest of the books.. :/
2006-10-12 [Talkris]: The movies are good, so long as you didn't read the books first. Once you read the books, then the movies are nothing.
2006-10-12 [Shjahjdahdvwa]: Some pictures aren't exactly in the theme are they?!
2006-10-12 [Lothuriel]: Entries 15 & 17 Removed for now. If you wish to explain why these images will qualify as childhood fears, you may resubmit them. Reason Images do not fite the theme of Things That Go Bump in the Night. A Halloween contest where people show the traditional childhood fears of monsters in the closet, under the bed, etc.
2006-10-12 [Elegy - gone]: Akis, that doesn't really fit the theme...
2006-10-12 [EmeraldGrizzly]: Exscuse me, i'd like to check now in case it doesn't, but does 18 fit?
2006-10-12 [Lothuriel]: Yes...
2006-10-12 [Vampire Akis]: the theme is not things that bumb up in the night? :-S *is confused*
2006-10-12 [Lothuriel]: From the top of the pageThings That Go Bump in the Night. A Halloween contest where people show the traditional childhood fears of monsters in the closet, under the bed, etc.
2006-10-12 [Lothuriel]: Yours doesn't fit the theme.
2006-10-12 [EmeraldGrizzly]: Good, did it after a dream I had when I was young that the original three came after me from the moon at night.
2006-10-12 [Vampire Akis]: I thought a ghost was a fear but anyway, I have another one. will you remove it for me please?
2006-10-12 [Lothuriel]: Well, they normally do dearie but, two cute little snuggly ones with hearts over their heads are hardly scary or considered traditional childhood fears...done.
2006-10-12 [moira hawthorne]: aaaaaaawwwwwww
2006-10-12 [Lothuriel]: I can see how that is a childhood fear, actually.
2006-10-12 [Vampire Akis]: Better now? ^^"
2006-10-12 [Lothuriel]: Yeppers.
2006-10-12 [Vampire Akis]: *hugs you VERY tight* Thank you!
2006-10-12 [EmeraldGrizzly]: Ohhhh, I liek the Purple Eyed, kinda makes me think of what may be watching me from the dark *is content when things watch me from the dark* X)
2006-10-12 [CrimsonDarkness]: mine was the best i could do... i tried and tried and tried to get the shadow on the wall.. just wouldnt work. that tree scared me to begin with... damn poltergeist movie...
2006-10-12 [The all powerful Midori]: Heyyy! Since we were on the topic of Stephen King, has anyone read The Shining? I heard it was scary so I'm thinking of reading it.... *only started reading S.K. only recently*
2006-10-12 [Ocean Soul]: the shining IS scary.. a hell of a book, if you ask me. read it, it's great!
2006-10-12 [Asrun]: I don't find the Shining scary, but rather unsettling. :O
2006-10-12 [The all powerful Midori]: WHOOHOO! OK! I actually heard about it on the TV show Freinds lol and didn't know it was by Stephen King til I saw it in stores :)
2006-10-13 [Asrun]: The movie is good too. It's always on TBS
2006-10-13 [Sunrose]: And image that is still uploaded to ewancient doesn't seem like recently made art to me :/
2006-10-13 [Tynuka-Rhytishy]: The book's WAY better than the movie.
2006-10-13 [Shjahjdahdvwa]: I don't agree with most entries of this contest. Even though it says childhood fears, this should also be noticed:
Things That Go Bump in the Night
[Zab] is the perfect example of how the entries should follow. [Elegy - gone] did also a great job in this theme.
But now putting a spider and an happy elftown hallowen, i don't agree with that one.
2006-10-13 [Tynuka-Rhytishy]: Part of the theme IS childhood fears.
2006-10-13 [EmeraldGrizzly]: We are still able to edit our entries, yes?
2006-10-13 [sequeena_rae]: Yes :)
2006-10-13 [Atayemi]: Meh, it's everyone's childhood fears. Insulting people isn't very fair. And thank you for disagreeing about my entry. I look forward to seeing yours. >_>
2006-10-13 [sequeena_rae]: There is a theme, and as long as everyone follows it, there's no need for anyone to feel insulted by anyone else. Kindly leave it there please.
2006-10-13 [EmeraldGrizzly]: Personnaly Atay, I like yours, it's simple and effective. Although I am not afraid of spiders, I used to know kids that would see that picture, realize it's a spider, and flip-out.
2006-10-13 [Ocean Soul]: Jeez, I hate spiders. They make me jump around and cry for help in a very girly matter.
2006-10-13 [Atayemi]: Me too..I hate them. >_>
2006-10-13 [sequeena_rae]: I usually spray them with hairspray to kill them. This greatly amused my Psychology teacher xD
2006-10-13 [Tynuka-Rhytishy]: Haha.
2006-10-13 [EmeraldGrizzly]: I catch them and take them into my room and set them on the book shelves or wall shelves. I 'ave many webs along the upper boarders of my room, even though my mom tries to dust them away every month or so, they always come back. I remember once watching a spiders egg sack 'hatch' and taking pictures. Anyone want to see them? *grins*
2006-10-13 [moira hawthorne]: memememememe! I love spiders!
2006-10-13 [Ocean Soul]: Your mom dusts for you? That's the shocking part of this :P
2006-10-13 [sequeena_rae]: My mother stopped doing that for me about 5 years ago o.o;
2006-10-13 [Lothuriel]: There seems to be a lot of annoyance with people not following the contest theme. Please note that Things That Go Bump in the Night is the title, more or less of the Halloween theme. The actual theme is A Halloween contest where people show the traditional childhood fears of monsters in the closet, under the bed, etc.
2006-10-13 [EmeraldGrizzly]: Yeah I understand that, unfortuantly for me the picture I posted was one of the very few childhood fears I experienced, the only other was if my bed ate me, and that was was weird.
2006-10-13 [Yuriona]: I was under the impression though that the theme was NOT your own personal childhood fears but those that are TRADITIONALLY considered to be childhood fears. For example: the boogeyman, the closet monster, the monster under the bed, child eating witches, big bad wolves and so forth. I personally had a childhood fear of falling from a great height but that would not be considered a traditional fear and therefore would not be fitting the theme of the contest. I suggest a good source for inspiration might be to look at some TRADITIONAL fairy tales and nursery rhymes as they all tend to contain such fearsome creatures.
As well ladies and gentlemen, as a council member and a guard I would like to remind each and everyone of you that if you cannot say something nice it is better to say nothing at all. While I am certain all opinions are welcome, offering opinions that are neither constructive nor meaningful to this contest are best kept your yourselves. Just because a member may not consider an entry to be worthy of this contest does not mean the council feels the same way. It is up to the council and the council alone to decide what entries fit the theme and which do not. Keep that in mind the next time the urge to offer an opinion creeps up on you.
2006-10-13 [Corazie]: Just... Umm... Who decides what's traditional?
2006-10-13 [Yuriona]: And I quote from my comment directly: "It is up to the council and the council alone to decide what entries fit the theme and which do not."
Is that sufficiently clear now [Corazie]?
2006-10-13 [Shjahjdahdvwa]: I am sorry if most people took the comment as an insult. :-s
2006-10-13 [Sunrose]: You could always ask if a certain fear is considered a traditional childhood fear, before you make an artpiece of it :)
2006-10-13 [Corazie]: Yeah thanks.
Would that large cat-like creature from Northumbrian legend be accepted? A 'traditional' fear of people in the area I live in...
2006-10-13 [banu]: Well, I do understand what "traditional" is meant and I agree with you about theme...My fear is about genies and It is not traditional but It is the most traditional fear in Turkey.Like I said, I have listened to lots of stories about genies,we believe that some of them is real, some of them is not...I have never seen a genie or experienced anything about it but it was the night terror when I was child...I have tried to express it but It is still a fear for me...
2006-10-13 [Shjahjdahdvwa]: Nonoooo I know it's a childhood fear, I was afraid of bees :) But i thought the main theme was the hided monsters, the night of fantasy wonders and such. But I didn't want by any form to make it sound as an insult to any of the participants!!
2006-10-13 [Yuriona]: Genies or the Dijin? I may have spelled that wrong but I know that dijins are supernatural creatures that are greatly feared in different parts of the world. I was under the impression though that traditional dijins are not found in bottles or lamps.
2006-10-13 [Yuriona]: A link describing the folklore might be helpful [Corazie]. I personally love learning about mythical and paranormal type creatures from all over the world. The cat-creature sounds familiar. What's its name?
2006-10-13 [Lothuriel]: http://en.wiki
http://en.wiki
Please add, gotta run and ET's being slow for me!*hugs*
2006-10-13 [Corazie]: I'll try and find one...
2006-10-13 [banu]: Genies in English but I know it as Dijin in Dutch...Like you said, they are not found in bottles or lamps,my drawing is just a representation
2006-10-13 [Lothuriel]: Wow, [banu] do you have any links for that? That sounds facinating!! I love parapsychology
2006-10-13 [moira hawthorne]: is [Talkris] and mine still going to be allowed or is it not traditional enough now?
2006-10-13 [banu]: :) I will search for some links and I will send you:)It is real and I also believe in it...For example, we believe that a genie (Cin in Turkish) can come If you say its name (all of their name is Genie in Turkey)...I know a story about them and my friend's brother has experienced it...I am searching some link right now:)
2006-10-13 [Lothuriel]: Ok, thanks. I have to run so, if you want to send them to me in a message, you are more than welcome! =0]
2006-10-13 [Talkris]: I think Zombies are a normal fear. Many people are afraid of them. Essientally that is what I did, while also paying tribute to Stephen King, another widly recognized fear.
2006-10-13 [banu]: thank you :) I am trying to find some links that are in Englisn...I have found lots of links in Turkish...I will sent them If I can find...:)
2006-10-13 [EmeraldGrizzly]: Alright then, would the Troll under the bridge from Grimms' tale of "Three Billy Goat's Gruff" qualify? If not, would moving Shadows in your room be acceptable?
2006-10-13 [moira hawthorne]: hey THATS my idea...
2006-10-14 [Yuriona]: Ideas can be common to more than one person moira. Just because you thought of it too doesn't make it yours. :P
2006-10-14 [moira hawthorne]: that was a joke! ..just Ive been working on my for the week... and I was just in the wiki to upload my finish art when I read Doom-El comment! I thought it was funny!
2006-10-14 [Yuriona]: And I was teasing. Boy you're sensitive.
2006-10-14 [moira hawthorne]: I say you are! I still find it amusing!
2006-10-14 [Yuriona]: Of course you do! :p
2006-10-14 [Ariandra]: I still get freaked out by the hand-like shapes that the trees outside our window sometimes make! That's a great traditional childhood fear, Moira!
2006-10-14 [Yuriona]: Heck, even shadows of everyday stuff look creepy in the dark. Or even just normal things out of the corner of your eye in broad daylight can freak you out until you realise what it is. ^_^
2006-10-14 [moira hawthorne]: Thx u Ariandra... it was that it moved! thats terrified me so much1 as the cars passed our house the head light made the shadow and the lighted window move across my 3 walls... and could never decide if it was more scarey when it started on the opposite wall and came towards me... or when it would suddenly appear right over my head!... I finally forced my parents to get me reaaly thick drapes and make sure there was no light in my room... so... in a way I was scared of the light rather than the dark... no light = no monsters!
2006-10-14 [Yuriona]: I grew up in the middle of nowhere so the only light in our room was the yard light. It got kind of freaky when a car came up the road but you always knew it was a car.
2006-10-14 [The all powerful Midori]: I dunno...I was such a heavy sleeper as a kid, I always konked out before I had the chance to freak myself out :D
2006-10-14 [Lothuriel]: LOL...I had a return air vent over my bed. When I was a kid I would swear that I saw eyes in it. It didn't have a cover on it for the longest time--my dad was not much of a do-it-yourself
2006-10-14 [moira hawthorne]: ooooooooooooo you should draw that!
2006-10-14 [Lothuriel]: I have been working on it.
2006-10-14 [moira hawthorne]: goodgood lookin forward to seeing it
2006-10-14 [EmeraldGrizzly]: I love yours moria, but by shadows I mean something different. My question is, if I get the time to upload, may I change my entry?
2006-10-14 [Lothuriel]: As long as you do so before the deadline..=0]
2006-10-14 [EmeraldGrizzly]: Thanks.
2006-10-14 [Kyrinn]: I lived in a big old creaky victorian house that was forever making noise, and at night it would sound like someone with heavy boots was walking around. Freaked me out. Id bury myself in dolls and stuffed animals so that anything came in it would think I wasnt there, lol
2006-10-14 [Lothuriel]: *is jealous*
2006-10-14 [Yuriona]: The staircase in my parents' house was the worst at night. You always felt like someone was watching you all the way up the stairs. They would creak at night too like someone was coming up the stairs even when everyone was in bed. :/
2006-10-14 [moira hawthorne]: thx u very much Doom-El
not only did I live in the country in an old weird hiouse... but I had teenage brothers.. (8 & 9 yrs older than me) who figured it was their duty in life to terrorize me!!!
2006-10-14 [moira hawthorne]: hahahaha ... love yours [cap'n sharkbait - the sword test dummy]
2006-10-14 [cap'n sharkbait - the sword test dummy]: :) took me ages seriously!!! this is about the 4th version, they started worse than that one!!!
2006-10-14 [Sunrose]: [cap'n sharkbait - the sword test dummy]: Your entry is not uploaded to Elftown, please do that and resubmit it :)
2006-10-15 [Vampire Akis]: Althought it's a nice one! HEehehehehehe!
2006-10-15 [cap'n sharkbait - the sword test dummy]: *How do I do that, It's on photobucket?*
2006-10-15 [shotokan_gal]: Upload the image to your house photo or drawing slot, and then copy that url here in the image tag. It means the link won't break, as sometimes happens with photobucket pictures.
2006-10-15 [Lothuriel]: Good job [Stray Kitty]!! Nothing like imaginary friends to fight off the monsters in your closet!
2006-10-15 [Stray Kitty]: Yep. More of overzealous cousins.
Do you think it would be scarier if the monster was still there when the lights got turned on. That would be pretty scary if you turned the lights on and it was still there.
2006-10-15 [cap'n sharkbait - the sword test dummy]: *Thanks*
2006-10-15 [moira hawthorne]: now would you like to thumbnail tag yours like everyone else...?
2006-10-16 [moira hawthorne]: nice blk & wh peice [Levoton] ... =D
the boy looks pretty relxed about it tho...
'hey look its death again... man that guy must be bored to be always staring in my window... that or he is soooo gay!'
2006-10-16 [Levoton]: Thanks. And well, I'm not going to overwrite your view on it but I personally see it as a little girl who is too used to the reaper to scream yet still too scared to sleep. ;)
2006-10-16 [Ariandra]: I understand that. There used to be a ghostly presence in my bedroom that I grew so accustomed to, I would talk to it at night.
2006-10-16 [Kyrinn]: I like yours [Levoton], and I agree with your description of it. You dont have to appeared terrified even when you really are, especially if it is something you have been dealing with over time. Awesome and dramatic! :D
2006-10-16 [Levoton]: Thank you. :)
2006-10-16 [Kyrinn]: Most Welcome. :D
2006-10-16 [EmeraldGrizzly]: GAAAHHH!! *loves "Peeking" gives artist a tray of cookies*
2006-10-16 [Tynuka-Rhytishy]: Gah >< I wish I could work with Photoshop better. Maybe I'd be better in the whole 'competition' thing. =P
2006-10-16 [moira hawthorne]: you dont have to do you art in photoshop to do well...
2006-10-16 [Tynuka-Rhytishy]: I know. Just from my point of view, the majority of the art that seems, not better, but more.. well done is a photoshop piece.
2006-10-16 [moira hawthorne]: why dont you find a friend who is good in photoshop and do a collab like me and [Talkris] did!?! your line art is very good... you could do that or colour it your self...
2006-10-16 [Tynuka-Rhytishy]: Aw, thanks! I can't think of anyone right now who does photoshop. =P As soon as I think of one, I'll go for it ^-^
2006-10-16 [moira hawthorne]: WHY NOT ASK SOMEONE IN THE CONTEST... EACH ARTIST IS ALLOWED TWO.... sorry caplock
2006-10-16 [Tynuka-Rhytishy]: I'm shy << lol, nah. I'm just gonna ask my friends before I annoy other people. =P
2006-10-16 [moira hawthorne]: Id do it with you but Ill already got my two...
2006-10-16 [moira hawthorne]: maybe you could just ask in general if someone here would want to do a colouring collab with you... and than you wouldnt feel shy of asking a particular person... the person who wants to will let you know..
2006-10-16 [Tynuka-Rhytishy]: I was kidding about the shy thing. =P But, I'm already in the process of making another one. ><
2006-10-16 [moira hawthorne]: o0 Oooooooooooooo

2006-10-17 [shotokan_gal]: Why wouldn't you be? As long as your entry follows the rules and theme :)
2006-10-17 [akhirah]: well, i won 2004's competition, and i remember it saying that i have to wait until the next one (meaning 06)until i could enter another? O_o;;
2006-10-17 [Lothuriel]: Then you should be able to enter. If you won in 2004, that was 2 years ago.
